I open my eyes,
It's blurry!
i can't really see where I'm going,
Or what's to become of me!
The lies of yesterday are hidden in my mind,
Obscured from all possible review.
And here I sit in the faided light,
Thinking only of you!
I'm not sure where I'm going, or what I am to do.
I'm only sure of one thing, I need to hear from you!
But you're gone,, and I have to be strong,
Awaiting the known day,
When peace and light would be upon me,
And life would go away.
Then everyone would say their prayers, and who knows where I'd be.
Only thing I do know is, one day you'd be with me.
And even then, I'd see nothing,
It would all be a blurr in my mind,
He'd have nothing to ask me in any doubt of whether I'd been kind,
Because i was not all there, my mind was just a blurr,
I lived in complete darkness, and never could have been sure!
I really like this. It's well thought out, straightforward, and deep.
